How I Made Over $42,000 in 1 Month Selling My Kindle eBooks (it’s a book!)

Alright guys, so obviously being a newbie to the wide and wonderful world of self publishing, the title of this blog does NOT apply to me.  It does, however, apply to self published author and publisher Cheryl Kaye Tardif, who wrote a book for helping self published authors called How I Made Over $42,000 in 1 Month Selling My Kindle eBooks.

I spotted the Amazon link to this book on Facebook this morning and made the sudden impulse to buy it (it was $2.99, not like it was gonna break the bank or anything).  I mean, I was curious.  I really wanted to know what Cheryl had to say about her experiences with self publishing and Amazon’s KDP select program.

Let’s just say that I wasn’t disappointed!

I read through the entire thing in about an hour and a half because it’s not very long, but it was filled with valuable information.  And what was extra cool to me is that while I was reading it, one of my own books was (and still is) up for free under the Amazon KDP promotion.  So it was like a checklist for me to review to make sure I was doing the right things (or if not the right things, necessarily, at least the tried and true things that other authors had used).

Thankfully, I was using a lot of the tips Cheryl had recommended.  And, also thankfully, there are more for me to try the next time I do a free promotion.

I really suggest that any self published author who’s new to KDP select or maybe considering entering the program give this book a quick read.  You will benefit greatly from Cheryl’s advice.
